I can’t believe Thanksgiving is next week– and of course, all I’m hearing about are Black Friday deals. I love a deal, but I hate crowds– hell, I hate shopping in a store in general. I prefer the ease of shopping online, especially with kids! Amazon Prime is my BFF. I have only gone Black Friday shopping once in my life, and that was enough.
I still have managed, over the years, to get some great deals before the holidays. Here are my best tips for getting deals online:
I use Ebates every time I shop online. When you click on a retailer’s link through EBates, Ebates gives you cash back. They send a check quarterly– it’s great! I have been using it for about 5 years now and love it. They also have a Google Chrome extension so you can be sure you don’t forget or miss an opportunity to use their site– if the site you’re on is an EBates retailer, a button pops up and you get Ebates credit once you click on it. If you sign up for Ebates through this link, you will get $10 in your account (affiliate link.) Ebates also lists coupons, too!
Brad’s Deals is a FREE daily deal email, and honestly it’s one of the best I’ve seen. Many of the deals are exclusive to Brad’s Deals’ readers.
There are some pretty amazing Facebook groups that provide you with the most up to date deals. These are the things I pay most attention to when I have my eyes peeled for deals around the holidays!
My favorites are:
There are some blogs that strictly discuss deals, especially for kids stuff. My favorite of all time is Baby Cheapskate— Angie knows her stuff. Her articles about Toys that Get Played With are super helpful.
I also really like Queen Bee Coupon’s Amazon Toy Price List. I love Amazon and she has an amazing list of the best prices so you know when you’re getting a great deal.
