Happy Valentine’s Day! I wanted to share our easy DIY Valentines for this year. I’m so happy with how they came out and they were really easy to put together.
I have to start off by saying that I do not consider myself a crafty person. I really want to be, but it’s completely not my jam once I get into the nitty gritty of it.
Problem is, my kids never seem to want the Valentines you can get the store. For the last three years, son has wanted New England Patriot Valentines. The first year, I made them in Microsoft Word. Last year, I bought a printable from Etsy. But this year, I hit the jackpot– the Patriots actually put their own Valentines together on their website.
I copied and pasted the images into Word and printed onto cardstock on my home printer. Easy peasy!
Next up was my daughter. We found this adorable printable on Fantabulousity, and paired with these fun glasses they came out ADORABLE! ** Note, I realize these aren’t sunglasses but I still love them! And also, 36/$12 through Amazon is amazing since she needed them for her class and her dance class.
Finally, I wanted to do something for their teachers as well, and with so many illnesses running rampant at school, this fit the bill! I printed these out on cardstock, hole punched the top, and attached with kitchen twine to a hand sanitizer bottle.
(See my messy cutting job? Told you I wasn’t crafty!)
I would love to hear about your creative, non-crafty DIY Valentine ideas in the comments below!
