Wow, my friends. It’s been a week! I’ve been ridiculously exhausted, my daughter was sick, and the days have been dragging. I’m ready for the weekend (and that extra hour of sleep, too!)
It’s time for another installment of Five Favorites, where I let you know about five things I’m loving lately. I hope you love them too!
Striped Sleeve Tunic
I LOVE this shirt I just got on Amazon. It’s crazy cheap (I got it on a Lightning Deal, so I paid less, but the regular price is $16.99.) It’s comfortable, not too heavy (like a thin sweater material.) Perfect length, too, and comes in lots of colors! I got the black with blue striped sleeves. Perfect for fall weather, great with leggings or jeans!
Oxo Potato Masher
I realize this is a weird thing to be excited about, but we take mashed potatoes very seriously in our house. I’ve tried using my KitchenAid mixer, but it’s kind of a pain. I’ve tried a ricer, but cleanup sucks. This masher takes the cake. I was pretty skeptical, but it got great reviews on Amazon so I decided to give it a shot. I can’t believe how great it works!
Magnetic Car Mount
I use Waze a lot, and I listen to a lot of Podcasts, so I need a good car mount. The last one I had was horrible– it used an adhesive that literally melted on my dashboard during the hot summer days. I found this one on Amazon, and it’s awesome! The best part is it comes as a two pack, so if you’re a two car family like us, you can put one in each car. It works really well and easily clips onto your vent.
Fleece Lined Leggings from Jenny Boston
I really, really hope leggings never go out of style. I love these fleece lined leggings from Jenny Boston. They are a boutique here in the Boston area, but they ship! I have tried other pairs of fleece-lined leggings and these are great– they don’t slip down and the waist is amazing! (Photo from Jenny Boston website.)
** They also have online flash sales on their Facebook group every Wednesday night!
Mealtrain is a website where you can organize people to bring meals for a friend or family member in need. It’s great to use if someone you know is ill or has just had a baby. I have used this multiple times (both coordinating and bringing meals to someone) and it is really easy to use and a great help to families that need it. And it’s free!
So those are my favorites for November… have you found any new favorite things lately?
